Lot Essay

The present watch is an outstanding example of a reference 5512 with Pointed Crown Guards (PCG) and an “Exclamation Dial”. The “Exclamation Dial” nickname comes from the fact that there is a small luminous dot below the rectangular marker at 6 o’clock that allows the rectangle and dot to resemble an exclamation point.

This watch features a perfectly glossy dial, like a mirror, and beautiful patina of the luminous material on the dial and in the hands. Furthermore, it also has the correct original bezel insert and a well-preserved case. Overall, this is a spectacular example of a highly-desirable glossy reference 5512 with Pointed Crown Guards.
