The exceptionally rare second edition of Euryalus. In this, the title is changed on the title-page but “Euryalus” is retained on both the front cover and dedication page. Only one copy of this edition is listed in WorldCat, at the National Library of Scotland, and we locate no auction records in RBH or ABPC. Cf. Forbes 2359; cf. Lada-Mocarski 147; NMM I 902b.

Octavo (214 x 129mm). 14 lithographed plates, all but 2 tinted and some color (some pale foxing). Original blue blind-stamped cloth, gilt-lettered on front cover and spine (mild soiling/rubbing, recased). Provenance: W.H. Dancy (ownership inscription dated 1887 to front free endpaper) – Meridian Rare Books.
