Dumonthier, Les Bronzes du Mobilier National: Bronzes d'Éclairage et de Chauffage, Paris, 1911, pl. 30, figs. 6, 6 bis. A similar pair is at the Ministère de la Marine. A pair of this model sold Christie's, Paris, 16 November 2008, lot 279, and another pair, Christie's, New York, 22 May 2002, lot 381.
