Lot Essay

The present watch is a fine example of the first automatic Cosmograph Daytona showing the “inverted 6” on the hour counter dial, a feature found in the early series watches of the model and up to around 1994/1995. It is furthermore preserved in very good overall condition, still retaining the Rolex protective sticker to the case back.
