The thick, flattened plaque is carved as a recumbent beast shown facing forward with open jaws, a single horn that sweeps back from the brow, an upward-curved tail that is scrolled at the tip, and is decorated on the sides with archaistic motifs and thread-relief scrolls that define the legs. The white stone has some small areas of russet color.
