of shaped oval form, on bun feet and with a moulded waved rim, the centre die-stamped and chased with a view of the Waverley Monument, Edinburgh, surrounded by foliage, the sides with vignettes of Windsor Castle and Abbotsford, each surrounded by rococo flowers, foliage and C-scrolls, the entwined serpent handle with a vacant shaped oblong cartouche with C-scroll border, John Tongue, Birmingham 1845 - 7½in.
