A CARVED RED-OVERLAY GLASS BALUSTER VASE

The vase is finely carved through the ruby-red overlay to the 'snowflake' ground with a hawk perched in the branches of a blossoming plum tree growing amidst other plum trees, bamboo, and a pine tree, all emerging from the rocky formation encircling the base.
7 1/8 in. (18.2 cm.) high
