the leaf a hand-coloured etching of a classical scene probably Mars and Venus, the verso with a flowering tree also embellished with mother of pearl, the ivory sticks carved and pierced with lovers with musical instruments, with putti, sheep, butterflies and shells - 10in. (26cm.), English, circa 1750 (tip of one guardstick replaced)
