Oscar Acciaioly, Special Bual 1837
Wax capsule, signs of seepage, bin-soiled and damaged label
Level base of neck
Tasting note: Caramel, leather, and old furniture wax aromas, fairly light nose, acacia honey sweetness. Lovely nose. Mouth filling taste with ripe acidity on the back, apple syrup, a tighter mid-palate because of the acidity. Dried fruits on the finish. Very nice wine, not overly sweet or complex. More on the elegant, feminine side. Very nice.
Last tasted with Dr Maliner, November 2015
