MAYAN STONE HACHA

The impressive profile of a stylized human head with deeply recessed circular eyes, heavy ridged eyebrows, lips drawn back, scrollwork ears, and tall domed, pierced, forehead; the recessed areas filled with dark red pigment and with Maya blue for highlights.

Hacha comportant des zones en creux emplies de pigment rouge foncé et des zones mises en valeur soulignées par la couleur bleue typique des Mayas et représentant un imposant profil de tête humaine stylisée, avec des yeux circulaires profondément encastrés, de lourds sourcils striés, des lèvres relevées, des oreilles d’allure enroulée, et un grand front surélevé et percé.
