the hood with moulded caddy top above cavetto arch with fret carving below, outset brass-capped pillars, glazed panels to the sides, the breakarch trunk door decorated with printed vignettes, on stepped plinth, the brass dial signed Antoien Patris a Bruxell on a plaque in the matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and date aperture, urn and foliate spandrels, a disc to the arch engraved with a sun face, within dolphin spandrels, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement, top rear to hood lacking, 18th century -- 108in.
