Lot Essay

Cette coupe est à rapprocher d'une coupe en albâtre oriental conservé au grand Trianon (inv. T220C.). Elle fût achetée en 1820 au marbrier Vallin pour 800 francs, la coupe a été envoyée en 1851 au Grand Trianon pour être placée dans la galerie. Ce marbrier de la rue Moreau Saint-Antoine, reçut une médaille d'argent à l'Exposition des produits de l'Industrie en 1819.
