A pair of Meissen twin-handled oviform vases
each painted with figures wearing 18th century dress at leisure in gardens, the reverse with a loose bouquet of flowers among lesser sprays and scattered sprigs, moulded and gilt with various bands of stylised leaves, the lower section swollen and gadrooned, the loop handles moulded and gilt with leaves, blue crossed swords marks, Pressnummern, incised E142 -- 41cm. high, late 19th century (very minor wear to some of gilt)
