A pair of Meissen two-handled blue ground oviform vases
with scrolling serpent handles terminating in leaves, the rims moulded with and egg and dart pattern above meandering interlaced lines, the lower sections gadrooned above band of leaves, enriched in matt gilt, blue crossed swords marks, incised A148 -- 48.5cm. high, late 19th century (one handle chipped, wear to gilt)
