A pair of famille rose pilgrim flasks
with moulded guei dragons to the shoulders, painted and gilt with officials on horseback and warriors in rocky landscapes, the reverses with phoenix amongst peonies and magnolia issuing from rockwork, all on pink grounds of scrolling lotus above bands of lappets to the feet -- 12in. (30.5cm) high, (gilt rubbing, minor damages to dragons, one with small area of lacquer repair ot neck).
