Badly bin-soiled label. Level: into-neck (1) Tasting note: First tasted in 2014 with Chris Blandy at the Madeira Wine Company lodges. Pale straw yellow color. Clean nose, buttery and sweet with floral tones. Lovely and pure. Clearly aged for a long period in cask. High toned start of taste, grapefruit, dry, fresh with waxy acacia and lemon peel tones. Then a few years later from a stock of now recorked bottles. Good punch, on the nose floral tones quite attractive in fact. Finesse. Freshly crushed white peaches. A day after from different bottle more butterscotch, vintage wax, dried peaches, in a more closed way compared to the previous bottle. Clearly a long cask aged wine of high quality. Fine creamy pure citrus taste, medium dry, lovely acidity. Well balanc
