Of turned and assembled wood, the ritual sake bottle with thick lip and tapered neck, the wide and rounded shoulder tapering downwards to a upright splayed foot; the base applied with black lacquer, rest of surface in red lacquer with visible flecks of the black-lacquer underlayer; inscribed tama (treasure) on base
