The stem tablke consisting of a flat surface round plate with slightly raised rim, resting on a straight stem with two wide rings on neck and above a domed round foot; the base, stem, underside and rim of the tray applied with black lacquer, the top, two rings and foot in red lacquer with visible flecks of the black-lacquer underlayer
