the hood with associated lunette pediment centred by a turned urn finial, reeded chamfered angles to the sides with glazed panels, conforming angles to the trunk, on stepped plinth with fielded panel, the 11in. (28cm.) square brass dial with female mask spandrels, matted centre with ringed winding holes, subsidiary seconds ring and calendar aperture, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; case and dial associated -- 91in.
