signed on the Y-shaped stand R & J BECK, LONDON & PHILADELPHIA, with rack and pinion coarse and fine focusing, prism, triple nose-piece, mechanical slide holder and circuit stage adjustable by rack and pinion motion, sub-stage condenser with shades and iris diaphragm, with vertical rack adjustment and plano-concave mirror, raised on two tapering pillar supports arranged to swivel on the base, with an extensive (95 complete) range of accessories including an additional ten eyepieces, eight objectives including a 0 immersion and ¼0, bull's eye condenser, abbe condenser, forceps, frog plate, polariser and other items, in supplementary case contained in an oak carrying cabinet with brass handle -- 19¼in.
