Celebrating the 150th anniversary of Cartier in 1997, the Maison created a series of very special, limited edition timepieces, mostly composed in previous metal. Many of these watches were based on historical models and are distinguishable by their red ruby cabachon guilloché dials in the style of the famous Cartier 'C' pattern.
The present 150th Anniversary Basculante features an 18k gold reversible case and is very slim on the wrist, measuring only 5.5 millimeters thin. This Cartier Paris model has a special anniversary engraving on the back and is numbered '67⁄150'.
