拍品专文

In 1845 Bocion studied in Paris with his compatriot Charles Gleyre. He went to Italy in 1852 and was influenced by Corot's paintings. In the late 1850s his landscape pictures reveal a remarkable insight into the atmospheric effects of the Lake Leman area, he explored in endless variations. In the 1860s his interest for colour and light predominated. The view of the Tour d'Aï behind which the moon is coming out has been taken from St-Saphorin or Rivaz.
