This sheet constitutes one of the rare examples where a religious episode is integrated into a pastoral landscape. Similar to La Grotta della Maddalena, preserved at the Civici Musei di Storia in Trieste (inv. 10-2193, G. Bergamini, Giuseppe Bernardino Bison: painter and draftsman, Milan Udine, 1997, no. 45), the artist places The Adoration of the Magi in a broad, clear, and luminous landscape.

La présente feuille constitue l’un des rares exemples où un épisode religieux s’intègre àun paysage pastoral. À l’instar de La grotta della Maddalena, conservée aux Civici Museidi Storia de Trieste (inv. 10-2193, G. Bergamini, Giuseppe Bernardino Bison : pittore e disegnatore, Milano Udine, 1997, no 45), l’artiste place L’Adoration des Mages dans un large paysage clair et lumineux.
