The present reference 1803 is a particularly well-preserved and highly attractive example of this celebrated model, distinguished by its vibrant green 'Stella' lacquer dial. The intensity and depth of the colour, combined with its glossy enamel-like finish, lend the watch a striking and unmistakable presence. Produced in the late 1970s and early 1980s in very limited numbers, Stella dials were created through a meticulous process in which coloured lacquer, mixed by hand, was applied in successive layers to achieve a rich, high-gloss surface.
