GLOBE TERRESTE sur le Quelles principaux Points sont Place sur les Derniere Observations de Mr.s del 'Academie Royal des Sciences et Suivent les Memoires des plus habilles Geographes de CeTempt, a 7-inch terrestrial table globe, with twelve paper gores showing the continents, Australia described as Nouvelle Hollande Van Diemens Land, joined to the East Australian coast, inscribed with an additional trade label, coloured and giving Captain Cook's voyage date of 1790, with meridian circle, one side inscribed with numerous latitudes of cities and towns, mounted with the paper horizon circle, supported by four ebonised quadrants on wood stand -- 17½in. (44.5cm.) high (some old damages, abrasions to gores and re-drawing)
