the hood with pagoda top surmounted by brass ball and spire and eagle finials, outset columns to the front, the trunk door with breakarch top, on plinth with wavy apron, the brass dial signed Nath. Cliff HULL on a silvered plaque in the arch, with C-scroll and foliate spandrels, the matted centre with subsidiary silvered seconds ring and date aperture, chapter ring replaced, the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; associated, restorations and replacements -- 86½in. (220cm.) high
