the former of moulded oval form and with a tapering angular spout, ebonised wood scroll handle and domed hinged cover with oval wood finial, the latter of oval form and with a reeded rim, each engraved with friezes of arrangements of dots and each with shaped oblong cartouches engraved with monograms, Henry Chawner, London 1790 - height of teapot 5¼in. (13.50cm.), weight of teapot 12.75oz. gross. (2)
