the case with fluting to the arched top, brass lion mask ring handles to the sides and line inlay to the front, on rectangular base with gadrooned gallery and brass ball feet, the white-painted dial (re-painted) signed W.BURCH Tenterden with steel moon hands, the single gut fusee movement with anchor escapement, pendulum holdfast to the backplate, splits to veneer -- 20½in.
