the wide-bodied case with swan-neck pediment to the hood with outset ring-turned baluster columns, the wavy arch trunk door flanked by chamfered sides, with conforming angles to the plinth on bracket feet, the white dial with rolling moon to the arch, spandrels painted as women bearing seasonal attributes, with subsidiary seconds and date rings (both rubbed), the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement -- 91¾in. (233cm.) high
