A Regency mahogany and later carved longcase clock
the case carved with foliate motifs overall and with arched pediment to the hood with brass ball and eagle finials, outset part-fluted columns, the arched trunk door within chequer-banded border and above plinth with conforming panel and wavy skirting, the white dial with painted rocking ship to the arch, spandrels painted with sheaves of corn to the Arabic dial, subsidiary seconds and date rings to the the centre (extensively rubbed), the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement and falseplate stamped WALKER; associated -- 90.5in. (230cm.) high
