the case with pagoda hood with trefoil-pierced trellis work panel and brass spire finials, outset brass stop-fluted columns and glazed panels to the sides, the breakarch trunk door above plinth with raised panel and wavy skirting, the brass dial with signature EARDLEY NORTON ST JOHN'S STREET LONDON above a strike/silent ring in the arch, foliate spandrels to the silvered chapter ring with matted centre, recessed seconds ring and date aperture, the five pillar rack striking movement with anchor escapement; restorations to cheekboards -- 102¾in. (261cm.) high
