A well presented brass model M.E. single cylinder centre pillar beam engine with cylinder 1¼in. bore x 2½ in. stroke, centrally mounted inward facing valve chest, drain cock and pipe, simple parallel motion with brass bearings, rod driven feed pump, barrelled, fluted connecting rod with wedged and cottered big and little ends, webbed crank, gear driven counter-shaft with spoked belt pulley and spoked flywheel, finished in green and polished brightwork, the pillar base stamped 001 and mounted on a wood plinth with drawer -- 13 x 17in. (33 x 43.2cm.)
