the anglaise riche case with fluted columns and dentil cornices, with pierced and engraved gilt-brass mask of scrolls and rampant lions to the Roman enamel dial with retailer's signature M & S WOOG PARIS, with alarm ring below, bimetallic balance to the lever platform, strike/repeat/alarm on gong to the backplate stamped 1548; with travel case, French, circa 1900 -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) high
