Nineteen Indian portraits or genre groups, several of which are possibly by Nicholas & Co. including a Hindu fakir, a sword-swallowing juggler, snake charmers, a barber and a tailor; two European portraits and studies of the owner's bungalow at Madras; a study of two European men with a tame cheetah; street scenes; nineteen views of the 'Seven Pagodas' rock-cut temples at Mamallapuram, south of Madras; a small copy print of a view of the Taku Fort in China by Beato; and eighteen views in and around Ootacamund.
