A fine 19th Century dockyard model of an admiral's barge
the hull, carved from the solid, with thwarts and rowlocks for eight oarsmen, step and raised walkway, seats and backrest for passengers and aft crew and helmsman's seat (tansom and rudder missing), six large oars with squared shafts and four smaller (one with hand-hold broken), finished in white and blue with gilded lining and pink (flaking, some paint loss), mounted on two turned columns, display base on four bun feet.
