built by J. Phillips with brass-bound wood lagged cylinder 2in. bore x 2½in. stroke, draincocks, centrally mounted valve chest with main stop valve, studded stuffing boxes, over mounted crankshaft with entablature, four main (two outboard mounted) bearings supported on eight turned columns with finials, spoked flywheel and belt pulley finished in black and polished brightwork, wood mount -- 12 x 10in. (30.5 x 25.5cm.)
