Reign of Akhenaten, 1350-1334 B.C., probably from the Aten Temple, Karnak
Depicting a royal head, probably Akhenaten, wearing a short 'Nubian' wig and coiled uraeus, receiving the Aten's rays and a hand holding an ankh (life) sign, with traces of red pigment and red painted gesso, mounted
