A tapering baluster vase with everted neck and slender lug handles, painted and gilt with a continuous scene of two cockerels and a hen beside flowers and blossoming trees, a swallow in flight to the side, the shoulder with a profusion of flowerheads within an entwined foliate collar and stiff leaves to the neck -- 9½in. (24cm.) high, sealed Kinkozan, (restoration to the neck.)
