Literature
The Noblest Game 7: "G. F. Watts was only twenty when he made the five lithographs of cricket strokes ... In 1894 he presented his original sketches for the series to the MCC, and they show a process of translation from a left-handed to a right-handed batsman. Felix (Nicholas Wanostrocht), his former schoolmaster, publisher of the plates, and a fine left-handed batsman would seem the obvious model ... The power in the hands, the life of the body-poise, and the whole impression of mobility indicate a gifted artist at work."
