Parr, Anderson, Stephenson, Willsher, G. Brown, Jackson, Iddison and Hinkly. Burbidge with 35, also made valuable contributions to the Surrey total of 244. Highest scorers for England were J. Wisden with 23 in the first innings, and J. Grundy with 44 in the second. H. H. Stephenson took 12 England wickets in the match.
