10-inches (25.3cm.) diameter, engraved with pictorial representations of the constellations, signed and dated at the north celestial pole, with inscriptions at the south celestial pole, the ecliptic and celestial equator divided in degrees and minutes, with tropical and polar circles, with brass axis mounted on a horizon circle and stand, the four slender tapering columns uniting the horizon circle and cruciform stand -- 13in. (33cm.) high overall
