(40.6cm.) high; together with a companion Ptolemaic armillary sphere, unsigned, possibly by the same maker, with coloured printed paper Zodiac circle, polar, tropical and equatorial rings, the meridian circle with hour scale, the horizon circle supported by four quadrants, mounted on an inverted baluster-shaped support and turned plinth base (both spheres with many surface abrasions, old damages and surface dirt, both stands with old worm damage)
