Leaf-shaped with strong medial ridge at the base, changing to stiff diamond section towards the point, with short faceted socket (probably reduced) struck on each face with a maker's mark, pounced with designs comprising wavy lines, sprays of conventional foliage, flaming brasiers, and panels containing trophies of arms

Probably from Henry VIII's armoury. Many staff-waepons with heads decorated with similar pounced decoration are in the Royal Armouries and the Royal Collection at Windsor Castle
