A Swiss Halberd
Late 17th Century
The head of bright steel, with flat crescent-shaped axe-blade and beak-shaped fluke, both pierced with triangular and circular motifs, top spike shaped as a wavy-edged partizan, tapering square-section socket, four straps (one missing), and original wooden staff
