A Regency mahogany and satinwood inlaid longcase clock, circa 1825
The case with swan neck pediment and brass capped fluted columns to the hood, conforming pilasters flanking the square top trunk door centred by a conch shell patera, with circular inlay to the stepped plinth, the 11½in. (29cm.) square white dial with painted floral spandrels, Arabic chapters, signed Jas. Thristle Williton in the centre with date aperture and seconds ring (lacks hand), the four pillar rack striking movement with anchor ecsapement; damages to plinth -- 83½in. (212cm.) high
