with an oval rat-tail bowl, a cast stem with overlapping scale-like motifs and a terminal in the form of a lion rampart and shield, inscribed "uyt Krachtvan dewacht 1704", the back of the bowl initialled "TI", maker's mark indistinct, Friesland, 1704 - 17cm long, 1.5oz. See Plate 1
