The case with arched top surmounted by a musical trophy mount, flanked by the figures of two amorini, one holding a tambourine and the other a drum stick, on bowed breakfront base inset with painted porcelain panels, those to the sides of bowed form and decorated with flowers, the central panel depicting Cupid, mounted with trailing flowerheads and oak leaf and acorn clusters, the white enamel Roman dial with steel moon hands, with retailer's signature BENNETT ...Cheapside LONDON (rubbed), the twin barrel movement with countwheel strike on bell, stamped on the backplate for MIROY FRES -- 21¼in. (54cm.) wide
