The case surmounted by the figure of an angel to the waisted pediment with flambeau finials, pierced mounts to the gallery and caryatids to the chamfered front angles, with bowed sides and on flattened ball feet, the gilt-bronze dial cast with foliate designs and applied with white enamel Roman cartouche chapters, engraved outside minutes, enamel plaque below signed COU...A PARIS, the twin barrel movement now with anchor escapement, countwheel strike on bell to pediment above, signed on the backplate Couppe a Paris, possibly associated, damages to case -- 29¼in. (74cm.) high
