Kimbei Photographer...Yokohama stamped in ink inside front cover, black lacquer boards, faux ivory and gilt onlay depicting cranes flying over a marshy riverside, oblong 4to., cloth box (broken).

This album has an exceptionally fine binding and includes twenty-three views and architectural studies around Nikko; portraits of geisha, a samurai, women at their toilet, a wedding ceremony, shopkeepers, a shoe-repairer (illus.) and Japanese musicians.
