A gold lacquer four case inro
decorated in hiramakie, takamakie, kirigane, togidashi and inlaid, shibayama style, in ivory with a street entertainer and a monkey beside a peasant and his horse on a boat beneath pine, a mountain range in the background -- 3 3/8in. (8.6cm) high, signed Shibayama on an inset mother-of-pearl tablet, and Kajikawa Saku in gold lacquer, (minor cracks, slight wear); attached boxwood netsuke of an oni mask with red lacquer interior -- 2in. (5.1cm) high; agate bead ojime.
